The circular reads “students are to vacate the
hostel on or before 8th of April 2017, pack all
your belongings along, do not lock your
rooms, do not lock your wardrobes, any
locked room or wardrobe will be forced open
and leave an empty room. ”

Busola Fayemi described the circular as
unacceptable and reflection of synergy
between the university authorities and the hall
She said “management shifted exams and yet
they want us to vacate the hostel before our
final paper, which shows that various units in
the university are not working together with
the conflicting directives”.
Funke Ilori while reacting on the circular
expressed confidence that the hall management
will review and reversed the circular.
“I am optimistic that the hall management will
also extend the vacation date following the
resolution of the Senate of the university on
March 29 “.
Several efforts to meet the Hall Warden were
unsuccessful as her office was locked at the
time of filling this report.
Meanwhile, newly admitted students,
2016/2017 academic session are expected to
resume into the hall of residence on 30th of
April, 2017.
It would be recalled that the university senate
last week extended the examination date till
April 13, to allow the university participation
in the Pre –NUGA holding this week.
